Location : Remote (India)

Contract Duration : 1 Month (with possibility of extension)

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 5 PM – 8 PM IST

Compensation : ₹700 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a Dashboard Engineer who can design and build clean, insightful, and user-friendly dashboards in Datadog and Power BI .

This is a short-term contract (1 month) focused on helping our technical and business teams translate system and infrastructure data into meaningful, visual insights.

You’ll work with senior engineers and business analysts, participating in live sessions to build dashboards collaboratively , focusing on UX design, clarity, and storytelling with data .

Key Responsibilities

Design and build Datadog and Power BI dashboards to visualize infrastructure, monitoring, and performance data.
Work closely with technical and business teams to gather requirements and refine visuals.
Prioritize user experience and visual consistency — ensure dashboards are both functional and aesthetically refined.
Support in integrating data sources and optimizing dashboard performance.
Participate in on-call working sessions during the interview assessment to demonstrate practical dashboarding skills.

Required Skills & Experience

2–5 years of experience in dashboard design and data visualization.

Proven experience building dashboards in Datadog and Power BI .

Strong understanding of UX principles and visual layout best practices.

Ability to collaborate and work under structured review and feedback cycles.

Clear communication and documentation habits.

Preferred Skills

Experience with infrastructure, DevOps, or monitoring dashboards .

Familiarity with data storytelling , color theory, and executive reporting.

Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or SQL) for data prep is a plus.

Assessment Process

Live on-call assessment during the interview — candidate will participate in the process of building or refining a sample dashboard.

Evaluation will focus on :

Technical ability in Datadog / Power BI.

UX design and layout choices.

Communication and collaboration skills.

Engagement Details

Timing : 5 PM – 8 PM IST, Monday to Friday.

Contract : 1 month (extension possible based on performance).

Compensation : ₹700 per hour.

Work Mode : Remote (India).
