Lab Chemist

The Role:

We are seeking Lab Chemist to join our team.

You will be responsible for :

• Developing, implementing, and continually improving the Company's EH&S programs and procedures to ensure Health and Safety.
• Ensuring compliance with Corporate EH& S policies as well as local & international EH&S standards and requirements and liaising with external authorities on EH&S compliance issues as required.
• Conducting regular site inspection for all environmental health and safety related matters.
• Reviewing incident investigations reports and providing feedback and suggestions on follow up plans.
• Ensuring EH&S records and maintained and up to date and providing EH&S analysis and reporting to the Corporate office.

Ideal Profile:

Requirements

• Conducting laboratory tests and experiments, following established procedures and protocols.
• Analyzing samples and interpreting data and recording and reporting results.Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.
• Developing and validating new laboratory methods and procedures.
• Collaborating with other scientists and technicians to conduct research and develop new products or processes.
• Conducting quality control tests to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Identifying and resolving technical problems and proposing solutions to improve laboratory operations.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laboratory protocols.Writing technical reports and presenting findings to colleagues or clients.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
