What you'll do :
You'll be crucial in planning and developing detailed layouts for our industrial projects, ensuring everything fits perfectly within specific building limits. You'll work to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets, always looking for innovative ways to optimize designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Line Layouts : Create detailed plans that show how equipment, systems, and purchased components fit together within the building's dimensions and around columns.
- Create Basic Civil Layouts : Design the initial civil engineering plans for the production line as per project needs.
- Understand Requirements : Review contract details, project philosophy, and customer-approved preliminary layouts, along with building and column information.
- Integrate Equipment : Work with the Team Lead Engineer to select and integrate equipment layouts into the overall line plan, considering space limits.
- Ensure Optimal Placement : Make sure equipment is properly placed on various levels (like cellar and ground floor), with enough space for maintenance, easy access, and clear areas for electrical / automation rooms, systems, purchased items, crane movements, and storage.
- Prepare Civil Drawings : Create basic civil layouts, excavation drawings, load data, and foundation bolt schedules.
- Update Layouts : Revise line and civil layouts based on customer feedback and changes.
- Develop Structural Assignments : Prepare tasks for structural design teams working on technological structures.
- Improve Processes : Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts and learn from past project experiences (REX).
- Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with group leaders, engineers, and designers across different engineering and company functions.
- Document Control : Create and check engineering documents according to our Quality Management System (QMS) and Design Approval Matrix.
- Stay Current : Keep up-to-date with new technologies and incorporate them into line layout designs.
- Communicate with Customers : Talk with customers and participate in technical discussions.
