About the Company / Business Unit

Parent Company is an AI solutions provider primarily engaged in providing products and services for Life Sciences applications. Companys customers include pharmaceutical companies, CROs , Hospitals and research labs around the world.

The business Unit has been developing and testing AI driven solutions for microbiology applications in particular for environmental monitoring in pharma manufacturing.

Business Unit currently comprises of approximately 25 employees with backgrounds in Deep learning, Computer Vision, Image Analysis, Application development, and Project Management.

Unit has developed and is currently testing various image analysis based solutions for micro-biology applications / environment monitoring needs in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Current technologies used in the solutions portfolio of Unit include span AI, computer vision, robotics, NFC, instrumentation and high resolution photography.

Unit is intended to be spun-out in near future. Current solutions are in testing phase with clients and it is planned that commercial operations will be launched before the end of the financial year. Plans and expectations include growth in pharma sector as well entry in customer segments like hospitals, food manufacturing, etc.

Requirements and objectives

  • Business Unit requires a CEO designate who will join the parent Company and lead all operations of the business Unit.
  • Expected to develop the business strategy, commercial plan and future product portfolio.
  • Make strategic and financial decisions that determine the trajectory of the Unit and position Unit to be spun out and operate as an independent entity.
  • Spearhead regulatory strategy of the product portfolio.
  • Monitor budgets, resources, and procedures by working with cross-functional Develop, execute, and assess top business strategies that will propel Company growth.
  • Collaborate with existing customers, external domain experts and team members to identify meaningful solutions.
  • Serve as a main resource for managers in finance, marketing, and sales operations that are currently provided by parent Company.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Understanding of corporate finance and business management.
  • Strong knowledge of technology, software products and instrumentation.
  • Proven success as a senior executive.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills

    • Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Relevant certification in business administration or equivalent experience in corporate management.
  • Experience in management relevant to Pharma manufacturing or micro-biology applications or lab instrumentation.
  • Sales, business development or Product development experience required.
