Job description

We are looking for an experienced MS Fabric Data Architect to lead end-to-end Data Lakehouse implementations and modern data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and a background in Azure Databricks / Synapse.

Location : Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Availability to join : Immediate to 30 days only

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement scalable Data Lakehouse architectures using MS Fabric (Medallion Architecture).
Lead data integration from diverse sources — on-prem, cloud, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Build metadata-driven frameworks, optimize performance, and ensure cost-efficient Fabric workloads.
Set up and manage Fabric Workspaces, access, and capacity.
Collaborate with teams for data modeling (Dimensional & 3NF) and CI / CD using Azure DevOps.
Contribute to LLM / GenAI-powered solutions and advanced data architectures.

Required Skills :

8+ years of data engineering / architecture experience (2+ years hands-on in Microsoft Fabric).

Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Fabric components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Dataflow Gen2, Fabric SQL DB, etc.).

Exposure to Neo4j, Cosmos DB, vector databases, and CI / CD pipelines is an advantage.

Education :

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
