We are looking for a Finance - Controllership Lead to build and run the finance backbone of Ozi. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-growth, zero-to-one environments and wants to own the entire controllership, compliance, and governance charter for a venture-backed quick commerce startup. You will partner closely with the leadership to ensure financial hygiene, scalability, and investor readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Controllership & Accounting

○ Establish end-to-end accounting processes (GL, AR / AP, reconciliations, closing)

○ Build robust internal controls, cost centers, and reporting frameworks ○ Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

○ Manage monthly closings, MIS, and board / investor reporting

○ Track and report key business metrics (e.g., margins, CM1 / CM2, burn, runway, unit economics)

○ Build cash flow models, working capital projections, and treasury management practices

○ Create vendor payout, commission, and reconciliation processes (SOR / OR / commission structures)

○ Handle payment gateways, COD / UPI reconciliations, and RTO accounting

○ Partner with category, ops, and warehouse teams to ensure PO, GRN, QC, and RTV flows align with financial processes

○ Monitor stock turns, inventory valuation, and shrinkage controls

○ Implement ERP / OMS integrations for finance visibility
