Job descriptionThe Ingenium Senior Developer will work alongside other Legacy IT professionals to participate in the design and delivery of New sales and Policy Servicing functionality on Ingenium 7.7 platform, across various product categories. This role will be responsible for software development, unit testing and support for systems and integration testing. The candidate will leverage proven technical competency to ensure effective delivery of custom solution on Ingenium Platform. The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada / India and will have a track record of working in agile based projects, working in cross – functional and geographically dispersed teams, to ensure the delivery of quality solutions. Legacy Technical Analysis : Technical analysis of legacy Ingenium 5.4 platform for code conversion, code reviews, coding and testing activities Backlog grooming : Work with scrum masters to groom user stories and estimations. Technical architecture, analysis and design : collaborate with architecture group to understand firm-wide code standards and guidelines, facilitate peer reviews.
Looking for Senior Ingenium Developer with 10+ years’ experience and following skills
About the Role : Technical Skills :
- Experience in Mainframe O / S and Development using COBOL programming language & JCL
- Experience in development and setting up Universal Life product using Ingenium 6.x or above version
- Experience in customization to Ingenium in Mainframes, Windows and AIX Operating systems, prefer Ingenium 7.X exposure
- Scripting using REXX
- DB2, PL / SQL experience
- Experience working in Agile / Kanban work
- Experience using GIT Bitbucket, Docker, etc.
- High knowledge of Canadian Life Insurance products
