(SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to create reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern test automation tools and frameworks.
Design and implement test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
Collaborate with the development team to understand product architecture and features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate product quality.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and document defects effectively.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of the codebase.
Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements to the testing process.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation and quality Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 year of experience as an SDET or a similar role in software testing and automation.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools / frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional Qualifications :

Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Basic knowledge of SQL or other databases for data validation and testing.
