Job description
  • Assembly Operations :
  • Perform tasks such as electronic component placement, manual / automated soldering, and basic product testing.
  • Quality Control :
  • Monitor assembly processes and perform visual / functional inspections to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting :
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues or malfunctions during the assembly process to minimize downtime and rework.
  • Maintenance :
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assembly tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation :
  • Accurately record production data, assembly steps, test outcomes, and quality metrics as per standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration :
  • Coordinate with production team members and engineers to improve assembly workflows and overall process efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance :
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience :
    • Prior experience in electronics assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
    • Technical Skills :
    • Proficiency in assembly techniques and use of tools.
    • Familiarity with soldering practices (manual or reflow).
    • Ability to interpret assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
    • Understanding of basic electronics components and functionality.

      • Process & Quality Tools (Preferred Knowledge)

    • 5S : Sort, Store, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
    • Kaizen : Principles of continuous improvement.
    • Poka Yoke : Error-proofing techniques to reduce assembly defects.
    • Kanban : Inventory and production flow management.
    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Methodical problem-solving for recurring issues.
