Job Title : Associate – Legal

Department : Legal / Electricity Regulatory Affairs

Reporting To : Managing Partner

Experience : 2-5 years

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate – Legal to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for electricity regulatory team management, briefing senior lawyers, drafting, legal research and litigation support. Experience or prior exposure to the energy or electricity sector will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in drafting of matters for APTEL, CERC and MERC, specifically.
• Conduct Conference and daily coordination with Client Team as well as daily briefing with engaged arguing counsels.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, memos, and briefing notes.
• Support regulatory compliance by tracking relevant laws, policies, and amendments.
• Coordinate with external counsels and assist in litigation or dispute resolution matters.
• Maintain and update legal documentation, files, and case databases.
• Participate in internal meetings to provide legal inputs on ongoing projects.
• Assist in ensuring timely filings and responses to regulatory bodies.
• Also need to sit at Clients office on part-time basis and engage work from there. Preference will be for person having exposure to both speaking and reading of Marathi language.
