Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Staff Engineer to join our Matter Stack team , contributing to the development and optimization of embedded software for smart home and IoT applications. This role demands strong technical expertise in embedded systems, C++, and wireless protocols, along with a proven ability to mentor team members and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software components for the Matter protocol stack.
• Lead technical initiatives and guide the team in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Matter with Wi-Fi and Thread-based platforms.
• Perform hands-on debugging using industry-standard tools (e.g., JTAG, GDB, Logic Analyzers).
• Optimize performance and reliability of embedded systems in resource-constrained environments.
• Contribute to protocol compliance, certification, and interoperability testing.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical documentation.
