Key Responsibilities :

Sourcing and Procurement :
Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on factors like quality, cost, reliability, and delivery speed.Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers.Placing purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.Material Management :
Maintaining adequate material levels on-site to support production schedules.Managing inventory, including raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.Addressing material shortages and developing action plans.Collaboration and Communication :
Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and other relevant departments to ensure material availability and meet production needs.Communicating with stakeholders about material availability, potential issues, and action plans.Quality Control :
Ensuring that procured materials meet the required quality standards.Working with suppliers to address any quality issues.Cost Efficiency :
Focus on finding the best value for money, balancing quality, cost and delivery timesSkills & Qualification :
