SAP Data Steward

We are looking for a talented SAP Data Steward to join our growing digital transformation team. If you are passionate about master data governance, quality, and enabling clean digital cores, this role is for you.

The Data Governance Analyst is a core Data Governance Program member who ensures that business requirements and vision are aligned with processes, and technical standards, and are incorporated into ongoing data strategy and initiatives. This role brings strong analytical skills to drive data standards monitoring and reporting using metrics and tracking, data lineage, daily review of business requests, and oversees data quality reporting.

Responsibilities :

Maintains and defines data quality processes; participates in the development of data quality rules which support critical business processes. Participates in and / or leads discussions with cross-functional teams.

Data investigation to assist in the development of effective data quality controls.

Identifies / receives problems or requests, then researches alternatives, tests to confirm

Collaborates with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and document business requirements related to data quality.

Acts as liaison between business subject matter experts and technical analysts in the analysis and implementation of the data quality process.

Generates and records ideas for improvement (e.g. integrity checks, maintenance processes, metadata, services)

Manages the input, throughput, and output of master data create and change requests in SAP for quality improvement

Ensures all data quality processes and methodologies are properly documented and stored for easy access by the entire Data Governance team.

Identifies and escalates data issues or opportunities to the Data Governance Leadership

Provide support for Data Governance initiatives

Knowledge / Skills Requirements

5 years of diverse work experience in a manufacturing environment and a good understanding of manufacturing operations, preferably from a buyer / planner perspective.

2 years of experience working with data or data-related analytics

Experience using SAP S / 4HANA and SAP MDM / MDG (or other similar MDM application) supporting master data solution

Must have strong problem-solving, analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills.

Semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience is a plus

Experience developing quality metrics, audit tools, or other device for measuring adherence to standards

Establishes good working relationships with business owners, and supporting the governance structure to ensure on-going data accuracy

Must possess strong communication (verbal and written), research and interpersonal skills as well as excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to be highly productive and efficient in a team driven environment

Well-organized, with the ability to set and meet goals and deadlines

Adept at working in both group settings and independently

Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
