Job Summary
- As Engineering Project Manager (EPM) you are part of the Project Management teams, in coordination with all SBM Offshore Regional Centers (Asia & North Asia, Europe, others).
- As EPM, you are responsible for executing the Engineering scope of work within schedule and budget.
- You take responsibility for the overall design quality and selected technical solutions.
- You work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as Planning, Engineering departments and you develop and implement the lessons learned.
Furthermore you will :
Define and control Engineering scope of workProvide input to the Overall EPM for developing the overall Project Engineering Plan (prepare the budget and planning of the assigned engineering scope)Review & Endorse the engineering resources plan prepared by Discipline Leaders for the assigned scope of workCoordinate the engineering team in consultation with the Discipline Leaders and Lead Engineers.Align multi disciplines towards common objectivesManage the execution of the Engineering scope in compliance with the contract, applicable rules & regulation, internal systems & standards, resulting in a safe, operable and cost effective designAddress all interface issues with other departments and proactive to avoid rework on deliverables.Organize design reviews and implement review resultsManage and resolve site design queriesWherever required advise / implement latest and cost-effective solutions in consultation with the Project Management Teams.Job requirements :
Candidates who have a BE / BTech or ME / MTech (Engineering school or Master degree) within any relevant engineering discipline (eg, Structure, Mechanical, Process etc).Mandatory :
You have at least 15 years of Engineering experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry within E&I, structural, process, or any other discipline from Engineering phase.Experience in Project Management - from FEED to Completion for EPCI projects.Well-developed contractual awarenessExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.Required :
Teams Management experience required (as coordinator, focal point)Preferred :
Experience onshore site (construction part, yards)Experience with Floating Oil & Gas solutions is preferred.Broad knowledge of the technical content of the oil and gas project and products like FPSO, FPU, FSO, semi-submersible, etcBroad knowledge of different offshore Oil & Gas production systems.Behaviors & inter-personal skills - Key points :
