Location : Delhi / NCR and Vijayawada, India

About the Role :

KPMG India is looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join its Social and Rural Development practice as a Specialist - Financial Management and Monitoring.

This role is instrumental in supporting large-scale development initiatives aligned with India's inclusive growth agenda. The focus areas include Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Employment, Women & Child Welfare, Housing, Financial & Social Inclusion, Livelihoods, and Social Protection.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage infrastructure projects with a strong focus on financial management, monitoring, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing protocols, and computerized financial systems.
Utilize advanced tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Work extensively with Public Financial Management Systems (PFMS) and other government financial procedures.
Provide insights on statutory and tax regulations, internal controls, and banking arrangements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

10-15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project management and financial oversight.

Educational background in MBA (Finance), M.Com, or Chartered Accountancy (CA).

Proficiency in financial software, electronic spreadsheets, and word processing tools.

Strong understanding of government financial systems and procedures.

PMP Certification is mandatory.
