Title : Application Packaging Engineer

Experience : 4 – 10 years

Location : Bangalore, India

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Application Packaging Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, packaging, and virtualizing applications to support Windows environments and enterprise IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Create and maintain application packages and virtualized applications.
Package / repackage applications for Windows 7 & 10.
Work with packaging tools : AdminStudio, InstallShield, Wise Script Editor, Orca.
Scripting expertise : PowerShell & VBScript; strong shell / batch scripting skills.
Implement Application Virtualization technologies (Microsoft App-V 5.0+).
Use Application Compatibility Toolkit for application discovery, rationalization, and remediation during Windows upgrades.
Create packages in SCCM and troubleshoot application issues effectively.
Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V).

Preferred / Additional Skills :

Mac Packaging, MSIX Packaging, ThinApp, XenApp

QA knowledge
