Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including mailboxes, SharePoint data, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Develop and implement a detailed migration strategy, including pre-migration analysis, coexistence strategies, and post-migration support.
  • Migrate Active Directory objects such as users, groups, and computers using tools like Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT) or third-party solutions.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive, including handling data and mailbox migrations.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for laptop and user profile migration during tenant consolidation.
  • Utilize scripting, particularly PowerShell, to automate migration tasks and administrative functions.
  • Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure a secure and efficient integration process that aligns with business needs.
  • Document all migration procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex migration issues, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

Qualifications

  • Experience : 5 to 10 years of proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise-level migration projects.
  • Certifications : Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert or Azure Administrator Associate, are highly desirable.
  • Active Directory : Deep expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and setting up trust relationships between domains.
  • Migration Tools : Hands-on experience with migration tools like BitTitan MigrationWiz or others.
  • PowerShell : Strong scripting skills using PowerShell for administration and automation.
  • Intune : Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for endpoint migration and management.
  • Security : Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security features, including Conditional Access and Information Protection.
  • Cloud : Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and other cloud services is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex migration-related issues.
