Fashion Design Intern

Work from Office (full time) – Dahisar East, Mumbai

About the Role :

As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for researching what could be the next wardrobe essential for her? Having done that, you should be able to design new styles, and oversee the production process from concept to sample to bulk production. You will collaborate with team to ensure the final product align with our brand's vision and meet consumer demands. This role requires creativity, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Fashion Design Intern at Cheesewalk. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including embroidery, fashion design, fitting, textiles, and fashion. The candidate will collaborate with the team to develop and create unique designs for our in-house brand in the women western-wear (streetwear) niche.

Qualifications

Skill in outlaying the design for fashion in the women category.

Proper know-how of cloth material / textiles

Experience in sizing / fitting and creating designs that addresses the mass market.

Developing futuristic product designs.

Knowledge of current fashion trends and styles

Creativity and ability to think outside the box

Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree / certification in Fashion Design or a related field.

Knowledge on finding suppliers, manufacturers and judging the raw material (textile) quality based on experience.
