Senior Technical Writer - OpenShift Developer Ecosystem

About The Job

The Red Hat Customer Content Services (CCS) department is searching for an experienced technical writer to join our OpenShift Dev Ecosystem documentation team. You'll be responsible for creating customer-facing technical documentation for our OpenShift Dev Ecosystem products, which will be made available online through the Red Hat Customer Portal. In this role, you'll define the scope of, quality test, and deliver technical content while maintaining customer focus by participating in existing feedback programs and consistently developing your technical expertise. Drawing from your passion for both technology and the English language, you'll work closely with globally distributed stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds to create content that helps our customers understand our offerings and find the best solutions for their needs.

What you will do

• Work closely with content strategists, documentation program managers, engineering project teams, support teams, and other stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality product documentation
• Engage and collaborate with customer feedback programs to address content gaps, lead and participate in content journeys, and promote continuous improvement of the documentation experience
• Keep up to date on changes to our offerings, customer use cases, and support issues
• Work with Quality Engineering and Development to improve the accuracy of your documentation.
