Overview :
The role supports financial control, compliance, and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, cost management, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Reporting
- Strong technical knowledge of Ind AS and practical exposure of implementation.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and other applicable standards.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee reconciliations.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses. Lead audit and close as per deadline.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure process integrity.Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies for filings, disclosures, and compliance matters.Analysis & Business Coordination
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.Support decision-making through data-driven analysis and recommendations.Monitor and analyze cost structures across departments.Drive cost optimization initiatives and support operational efficiency.Process Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and controlling.Leverage automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency.Qualifications / Skills :
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification must5-8 years experience in various Corporate Accounting rolesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in coordinating with Big 4 audit firms for various audits, as well as regulatory filingsProficiency in SAP / ERP systems and advanced ExcelExcellent communication and stakeholder managementIn-depth knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, and tax regulationsPreferred Background / Experience :
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or FMCG sectorsExposure to multinational environments and matrix structures
