The LiDAR Scan-to-BIM Expert leads end-to-end processing, analysis, and BIM conversion of
ALS / MLS / TLS LiDAR datasets for national-level infrastructure, bridge inspection, corridor mapping,
and as-built engineering projects. The role drives technical delivery, workflow standardization, and
high-accuracy documentation for railway, roadway, bridge, and utility assets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead processing of ALS / MLS / TLS / Slam LiDAR datasets including registration, classification,
noise removal, and QA / QC.
Develop LOD 200–500 BIM models for bridges, railways, roads, buildings, and utilities.Produce bridge inspection drawings, deformation reports, clearance studies, and structuralcondition documentation.
Create railway corridor as-built models, yard layouts, and engineering drawings.Integrate textured mesh models with LOD BIM models for high-accuracy outputs.Coordinate with survey, GIS, CAD, and project teams for seamless data flow and deliverables.Lead client presentations, technical discussions, and documentation.Mentor junior LiDAR and BIM analysts, establishing standard workflows and quality benchmarks.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
98% accuracy in LiDAR registration and BIM model tolerances.
On-time delivery of all assigned project milestones.Zero major rework due to technical or modelling errors.Demonstrated process improvements increasing productivity by 10–20%.High client satisfaction and approval on first submission.Internal team capability development and training impact.Preferred Qualifications & Skills :
