Accountant – Finance & Compliance

Job Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software and a strong understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, GST, PF, and TDS filing.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.

Manage and track accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer

ledgers.

Prepare and file GST returns, PF, and TDS within statutory timelines.

Maintain compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Prepare and review financial statements and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Generate and analyze financial and management reports to support business decisions.

Record and verify accounting entries in Zoho Books, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.

Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify variances and improve financial efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s degree preferred).

Proven experience working with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF filing, and basic tax compliance.

Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Experience :

2–3 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance.

Prior exposure to financial analysis, and reconciliations.
