The Opportunity : Architect the Future
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to spearhead our global recruitment strategy. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling a world-class talent acquisition function that can support our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate is not just a recruiter but a strategic business partner who can navigate complex requirements, manage senior stakeholders, and lead a high-performing team. You will be instrumental in building the human capital engine that powers LearningMate's innovation and market leadership across India, the USA, UK, South Africa, and future markets.
Core Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Planning :
- Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with LearningMate's long-term business objectives.
- Utilize data-driven insights and market intelligence to forecast hiring needs, identify talent trends, and develop proactive talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Develop and manage the annual talent acquisition budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.
Team Leadership & Development :
Lead, mentor, and inspire a dynamic team of 10-15 Talent Acquisition Managers, Senior Recruiters, and Recruiters.Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.Set clear performance goals (KPIs and OKRs), provide regular feedback, and create development opportunities to nurture talent within the function.Stakeholder & Client Management :
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers, providing expert guidance on talent market dynamics, recruitment best practices, and effective interviewing techniques.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of their hiring needs and challenges.Geographical Scope & Responsibilities
Primarily drive and own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and execution for all our operations within India , managing the fulfillment of complex, high-volume hiring needs across all business functions.Act as a strategic partner to our global teams, providing timely support and expert guidance for recruitment activities in the USA, UK, and South Africa.Collaborate closely with international stakeholders to understand their unique talent requirements, share best practices from the central talent function, and ensure a cohesive and standardized global approach to talent attraction.Process Excellence & Employer Branding :
Evaluate and enhance the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer and onboarding, to ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives within all talent acquisition processes.Collaborate with the Marketing department to strengthen LearningMate's employer brand and position us as an employer of choice in the global EdTech industry.Who We're Looking For : The Ideal Candidate Profile
A minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition.At least 5 years of experience in a people management role, leading and scaling recruitment teams.A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA in Human Resources or a related field is highly preferred.Proven experience in a global recruitment capacity is essential, with specific exposure to hiring in the USA, UK, and / or South African markets.Demonstrated ability to manage the recruitment of both IT and Non-IT roles, from software engineers and data scientists to instructional designers, content specialists, and sales leaders.Verifiable track record of developing and executing successful, data-informed talent acquisition strategies in a high-growth environment.Experience within the Technology, EdTech, or KPO / BPO industry is a significant advantage.Skills & Competencies
