Project Architect (6–10 Years Experience)

Location : Chennai

Job Type : Full-time

Reporting To : Principal Architect

Salary : ₹65,000 per month (higher for deserving candidates)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Project Architect with 6–10 years of experience to join our growing design team. The role requires strong design sensibility, leadership in handling residential and commercial projects, and the ability to manage the complete project lifecycle — from concept design to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design development for residential and commercial architecture projects (offices, retail, mixed-use, etc.).
  • Create conceptual designs, presentations, and client proposals with a focus on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
  • Prepare & coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients across all project stages.
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring quality and detailing.
  • Conduct site visits to support project execution and coordinate with site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Architecture.
  • 6–10 years of experience in architectural design (residential & commercial).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design leadership.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Revit (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of building systems, materials & detailing.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.

  • Prior experience in residential & commercial projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local development regulations & approvals process.
