Job description

Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Network Engineer with deep expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Routing & Switching, SD-WAN (Viptela), and Azure networking. The role involves collaborating with global teams, supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and security of network services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments (Azure).
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls , Cisco routers / switches , and Viptela SD-WAN solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for escalated network incidents and change requests.
  • Participate in network optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across network infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Provide on-call support as required and collaborate with global teams in a 24x7 environment.

Must-Have Skills :

  • Palo Alto Firewalls : Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela) : 3–4 years of hands-on experience.
  • Azure Networking : Strong experience in design and troubleshooting.
  • Cisco Routing & Switching : 4–5 years of implementation and support experience.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Aruba WLC or Cisco Meraki wireless experience.
  • Exposure to other firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Check Point).
  • Scripting / automation experience (Python, Ansible) for network tasks.

  • Total Experience : 10+ years
  • Relevant Experience :
  • Palo Alto : 6+ years
  • SD-WAN (Viptela) : 3–4 years
  • Cisco Routing & Switching : 4–5 years
