Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities

Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (franchise, lease, marketing, tech, MoUs, supply, and service agreements).

Ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant, and protect company interests.

Manage company secretarial work — preparation of Board Resolutions, Minutes, Annual Filings, and Statutory Registers.

Handle filings on MCA & RBI portals (FCTRS, FCGPR, FLA) and ensure timely compliance with Companies Act & FEMA regulations.

Provide legal and compliance support for new business initiatives and respond to legal notices.

Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Liaise with external counsels and assist in audits (internal / external).

Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory updates relevant to business operations.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Education : LLB / LLM

Experience :

3–7 years in corporate legal, contracts, and secretarial functions

Strong understanding of Companies Act, FEMA, and commercial contract laws

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

Attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
