About the Role :
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to help optimize and maintain our ETL pipelines and data infrastructure. You’ll work with analysts, engineers, and leadership to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient data workflows that support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and improve ETL pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Dataprep / Dataflow)
- Enhance modularity, reusability, and error handling in workflows
- Introduce lightweight data governance practices
- Support development of a semantic layer for consistent metrics
- Collaborate with analysts to structure data for dashboards and reporting
- Mentor team members, document processes, and review code
- Participate in hiring and team standardization efforts
