Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure

Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and manage robust infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure Cloud , ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Configure and troubleshoot networking components in cloud and on-premises environments, including virtual networks, subnets, firewalls, and routing.

Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security patching, and configuration management.

Manage source code and facilitate collaborative development using Git version control systems, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps , including build definitions, release pipelines, and artifact management.

Utilize and potentially enhance deployment tools (e.g., Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps Release Pipelines) to automate application deployments across various environments.

Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications, leveraging tools for logging, alerting, and performance metrics (e.g., Elastic Observability, Azure Monitor, Application Insights).

Administer and optimize SQL Server databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and ensuring data integrity.

Collaborate with development teams to identify and address infrastructure and deployment challenges, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.

Required Skills and Experience :

Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) is a mandatory requirement for effective communication with our international teams and partners.

Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services (e.g., VMs, VNet, App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure AD).

Solid understanding of networking concepts and practical experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.

Demonstrable experience with Windows Server administration, including PowerShell scripting.

Proficiency with Git for version control.

Strong experience in setting up and managing CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .

Familiarity with deployment methodologies and tools; experience with Octopus Deploy is a significant plus.

Experience with implementing and managing monitoring and alerting systems.

Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL Server administration.

Bonus Skills and Certifications :

Experience with .NET application development or deployment.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch cluster management and administration.

Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400) are a plus
