Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with 1-6 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions crucial for supporting business operations and decision-making.
This role's primary focus is on writing highly optimized SQL queries, creating and managing database objects, and ensuring superior data integrity, performance, and reliability across all database systems.
Primary Responsibility & Core Functions :
Database Design and Optimization :
- Design and implement effective database structures, including the creation and management of tables, views, primary keys, foreign keys, and optimized indexes.
- Design, develop, and optimize database systems and queries to ensure highly efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
- Maintain and continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of production database systems through tuning and best practices.
SQL Development and Programming :
Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Ensure all developed code adheres to best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.Data Integrity and Support :
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through effective testing, validation processes, and implementation of data constraints.Support data-centric operations, including data migration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and complex reporting needs.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks in a timely and effective manner.Collaboration and Documentation :
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to understand requirements and design optimal data solutions.Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including detailed ER diagrams (Entity-Relationship Diagrams) and data dictionaries.Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience : 1 to 6 years of professional experience as a dedicated SQL Developer.Core SQL : Expert proficiency in writing, testing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.Database Design : Strong experience in designing and implementing database structures (tables, views, indexing strategies).Performance Tuning : Proven ability to maintain and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability.Data Integrity : Experience ensuring data accuracy and integrity through validation and constraints.Problem Solving : Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving database-related issues.Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with database administration tasks (backups, security, replication).Experience with a specific RDBMS (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).Experience supporting modern ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory).Location & Experience :
