A Partner Solutions Engineer would have deep expertise in LinkedIn's API products and technical solutions. You will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to launch new API products and help enterprise partners integrate. You will be responsible for enterprise partners CSAT, program health, and monthly enterprise partner operations review. You may drive adoption of LI's API products in the marketplace by managing a portfolio of high touch enterprise partners or lead product adoption across a broad base. You will understand feature gaps in API, product, or partner offering and build solutions to address gaps and drive client success.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, solution engineer, and program manager for enterprise partners, driving the adoption of LinkedIn API products.
  • Build, test, and support scalable integrations by providing technical development, coding support, and architectural guidance to partners.
  • Develop engineering prototypes that enable pilot partners and customers to create proof points for further Product-Eng investment at LinkedIn, including minor product updates or low-hanging fruits that delight partners and customers.
  • Facilitate onboarding, testing, and pre-launch activities to ensure seamless partner experiences and successful product implementations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams at partner organizations to design and optimize platform integrations.
  • Partner with Business Development and Product teams to accelerate adoption of new features and ensure partner success through effective launch programs.
  • Advocate for enterprise partners by sharing insights and feedback to improve LinkedIn's products and platform best practices.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, SDKs, and authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with command line tools (ssh, git, bash, curl) and API development tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience with open-source languages like Java, Python, Javascript, node.js, PHP or Ruby for rapid development
  • Written, presentation, and oral communication skills, with the ability to create and present solutions to partners

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • BS and 6+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and oral communication skills, with the ability to create and present solutions to partners.
  • Proficiency writing SQL queries
  • Passion for creating and sharing developer-focused content online or at events.
  • Deep understanding of developer ecosystems and developer communities.
  • Experience working with legal and policy teams while developing software solutions.
  • Experience integrating enterprise services, either as a consumer or provider.
  • Experience managing external partners / customers and collaborating with product, business development, and engineering teams.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
