Manual QA Engineer (Mobile Application & Accessibility Testing)

Experience : 5–7 years

Work Location : Trivandrum / Kochi (Preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in mobile application testing (Android & iOS) , web application testing , and accessibility validation . The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, with experience ensuring mobile apps meet functionality, design, accessibility, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for Android and iOS applications.
Create and maintain detailed UI checklists to ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and adherence to design specifications.
Perform UI verification and visual inspection across multiple devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing .
Execute accessibility testing using assistive tools and validate compliance with WCAG and ADA guidelines.
Conduct performance testing using Apache JMeter to evaluate app stability, response time, and load behavior.
Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and MANTIS .
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and BAs for issue validation and resolution.
Maintain comprehensive test cases, reports, and documentation .
Contribute to process improvements in UI, accessibility, and performance testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS) .

Strong knowledge of UI / UX validation and design consistency testing.

Hands-on experience in accessibility testing using assistive technologies.

Familiarity with WCAG standards and mobile accessibility best practices .

Experience using Apache JMeter for performance testing.

Proficiency in JIRA and MANTIS for defect tracking and reporting.

Strong ability in test case design, execution, and documentation .

Experience in real device testing , simulator / emulator use , and OS compatibility validation.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.).

Exposure to API testing using Postman .

Experience with Database Testing .
