Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Functional Consultant to implement and configure Oracle OTL as part of our enterprise project and finance transformation initiative. The consultant will support the deployment of employee and contractor project tracking integrated with Oracle PPM Cloud, driving improved data accuracy, compliance, and streamlined workflows.
He / She will be an individual contributor with the ability to interact with a global team of functional stakeholders, business team, technical experts and articulate how to best integrate Oracle technologies to deliver superior business impact.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Functional expertise with Oracle Cloud OTL along with experience in two or more of the following modules : Core HR, OTL, Payroll, Absence Management
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle OTL Cloud, ensuring alignment with business time-tracking and project reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with PPM functional and technical stakeholders to define time tracking policies
and requirements.
Design and configure OTL components including :
Time entry and approval rulesTimecard layouts and time categoriesAssignment of employees and contractors to projectsIntegration with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM)Validation and approval workflowsEnsure compliance with organizational and legal labor policies through appropriateconfiguration of OTL rules and structures.
Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), training, documentation, and go-live readiness.Support post-go-live stabilization, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.Able to perform Unit test all technical objects prior to delivery to client.Able to document testing resultsShould be able to develop runbooks for all technical objects.Should analyze and resolve technical queries during project execution.Should provide functional guidance to technical Skills :Minimum 5+ Years of Implementation experience in Core HR, Oracle Time & Labor Module. OTL experience is mandatory.Implementation experience in Core HR, OTL integrated with PPM modules.Full project life-cycle experience (requirements gathering, fit / gap analysis, functional design, UAT, training, deployment) of OTL and associated modules.Should have good communication skills and have experience in liaising with the client.Should be ready to work late night to have 3-4 hours of overlap with PST based stakeholders.Strong understanding of time collection rules, approval workflows, payroll / time policies, andintegration with HCM and PPM modules.
Hands-on experience configuring :
Timecard layouts and time attributesTime processing profiles and assignment rulesOTL approvals using BPM WorklistDeep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Time & Labor architecture and functionality.Experience in designing time collection processes for various workforce types (employees, contractors, contingent workers).Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple Skills :Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills.Should have positive attitude.Ability to learn new technologiesOracle Cloud Certification in Time and LaborExperience integrating OTL with Project Costing or PayrollFamiliarity with Oracle HCM Core and Absence Management(ref : hirist.tech)
