Job Description

Testing and Analysis :

Conducting experiments, tests, and analyses on materials, products, or systems to assess performance, identify issues, and gather data.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance :

Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper functionality.

Data Management :

Recording, analyzing, and interpreting test results, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records of experiments and findings.

Safety and Compliance :

Ensuring a safe and compliant laboratory environment by following safety procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality control standards.

Collaboration and Support :

Collaborating with engineers, researchers, and other technicians to support projects, develop new testing methods, and provide technical assistance.

Inventory and Documentation :

Managing laboratory inventory, including supplies and equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and results.

Specific Tasks May Include :

• Preparing samples and specimens for testing.
• Fabricating test fixtures and developing test protocols.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and resolving laboratory problems.
• Assisting in the development of new testing methodologies.
• Maintaining a clean and organized lab environment.
• Participating in internal audits and pre-audit preparation.
