Key missions of the position :
Achieving production as per plan (Operational Raito), Labour Efficiency, Utilization, Productivity
Controlling WIP inventory, Rejections, Rework, Scrap rate
Improving 6S, Kaizen, VSM from the current level
Supporting for Lean Implementation
Responsibilities :
Make sure KPI targets are met on Daily, Weekly, Monthly and report
- Implement Kaizen on the shop floor.
- React in case of a problem through QRQC
- Drive improvement ideas generation and implementation
- Aims to devote 30% of time to improvement actions
People Management :
Leading by example in terms of rigor and discipline,
Plan the day before people allocation for the next day, plan also on a weekly basisCoach team members in how to perform their roleSupport and help to fix problemsEnsure discipline and rigor (work wear, break times, working hours)Ensure the respect of safety instructions, policies and proceduresEnsure proper induction of new operators on the line (OJT, Dojo)Deploy People as per skill matrix (Polyvalence)Ensure recognition upon individual performance : (Monthly rewarding)Ensure proper flow of information to and from the team (Top 5 communication)Health, Safety and Environmental working condition :
Responsible for immediate stopping of a line in case of safety risksEnsure full respect of HSE rules and regulationsLead HSE core teams and drive implementation to followDrive improvement of working conditions and ergonomicsTeamwork :
Arrive before start of shift in order to ensure transfer of all information from the supervisor of previous shiftParticipate with supervisory colleagues to improvement of Business Unit performanceParticipate to Business Unit Top 5 and report line performance, successes and issues as well as action initiated.
