Network Engineer (24 / 7 Rotational Shifts)

Work Mode : Hybrid – Work from Office mandatory on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Job Summary :

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers to join our dynamic team supporting 24 / 7 operations. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and Wi-Fi network setups (Cisco WLC) along with working knowledge of key routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS). Candidates must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise network infrastructures with a strong focus on :
Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) – mandatory expertise required.
Wireless LAN controllers (Cisco WLC) and Wi-Fi setup – mandatory.
Routing protocols : BGP , OSPF , and ISIS .
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Handle incident, problem, and change management using tools like Remedy and ServiceNow (SNOW) .
Experience or understanding of e-bonding for integration between ticketing systems.
Perform basic analysis and troubleshooting on Firewall systems (Palo Alto) – occasional use (~2% of daily workload).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for escalations and service improvements.
Participate in on-call support as per rotational shift schedules.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, Palo Alto PCNSA ) are a plus.

Minimum 5 years solid hands-on experience and understanding of STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) .

Strong working knowledge of Wi-Fi setups , including Wireless Controllers (Cisco WLC) .

Routing Protocols : BGP, OSPF, ISIS – good understanding and troubleshooting experience.

Ticketing Tools : Experience with Remedy , ServiceNow (SNOW) , and e-bonding integration knowledge.

Basic knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls – not required to be an expert.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Willingness to work in a 24 / 7 rotational shift environment including night shifts and weekends.

Candidates must be flexible to work from the office every Wednesday and Thursday .

Looking for proactive individuals who can take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.

Prior experience in a NOC (Network Operations Center) or enterprise network support environment is highly desirable.
