Role Overview and Responsibilities :

Dhruva Space is seeking a experienced Project Manager with specialized expertise in RF systems and Antenna design to join our dynamic team to work at client location. As a leading satellite technology company, we are dedicated to advancing space communication and exploration. The Project Manager will lead development efforts for satellite communication modules and antenna subsystems, requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of critical satellite projects.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage design and development programs for RF systems and antenna subsystems, including link budget analysis, frequency coordination, and RF validation.
  • Guide technical teams in antenna simulations, testing, and integration with satellite platforms.
  • Review technical documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and manage project budgets, implementing cost-control measures.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, comply with industry regulations, and align with mission requirements.
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to ensure RF systems and antenna subsystems meet performance and mission objectives.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement improvements based on feedback.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of industry experience in RF systems and antenna design.
  • Deep knowledge of payload communication systems, antenna design tools, and RF compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with antenna simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, FEKO) and RF validation methods.
  • Strong understanding of RF compliance, EMI / EMC, and reliability standards.
  • Proven project leadership experience in aerospace, satellite, or communications sectors.
  • Strong technical documentation, stakeholder communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of resource management, budgeting principles, and cost control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
