S3D API Developer

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Smart Plant 3D (S3D) API Developer to join their Chennai team immediately. The ideal candidate will be deeply skilled in S3D API development, plugin creation, and customization of the Smart Plant 3D platform. This role involves working closely with engineering and design teams to develop custom tools, automate workflows, and enhance project efficiency through specialized S3D developments.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience with Smart Plant 3D API development and customization.
• Proficiency in .NET programming languages (C#, VB.Net) and strong SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of S3D architecture, database schema, and engineering workflows.
• Experience with 3D modeling rules, custom catalog creation, and drawing template customization.
• Familiarity with integration of design review tools such as Navisworks and SmartPlant Review.
• Engineering or computer science degree preferred; Hexagon certifications a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and training skills.
