AWS Cloud Engineer Position

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and be proficient in deploying, managing, and optimizing EC2 instances across various environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing system administration and troubleshooting tasks for Linux and Windows virtual machines, ensuring scalability and performance tuning of cloud resources, and designing and managing IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries for secure access.

In addition, the AWS Cloud Engineer will configure and secure Amazon S3 buckets with encryption, versioning, lifecycle rules, and bucket policies, manage secure access to infrastructure using StrongDM, implement patching strategies using AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager, and use AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for automation, compliance, and remote VM operations.

The successful candidate will also develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for cloud automation tasks, build event-driven workflows using Amazon EventBridge to respond to system events, set up and manage SNS notifications for system alerts and service events, and monitor system and application health using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.

To apply for this position, you should have experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform and hold certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance regulations
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator
