Job descriptionCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop, test, and implement enhancements and improvements to existing SAP BW solutions. Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for improved performance. Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance system functionality. Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Create and maintain InfoCubes, DataStore Objects, InfoObjects, and other data structures in SAP BW. Apply dimension modeling and star schema techniques to support effective reporting. Develop and maintain reporting solutions using tools like SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, or other reporting tools. Create and enhance BI queries, reports, and dashboards to meet the business requirements. Collaborate with end-users to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Work on data integration between SAP BW and other systems such as SAP ERP, external databases, and third-party applications. Ensure data consistency and accuracy in data transfers. Maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP BW configurations, processes, and enhancements. Provide training and guidance to end-users and colleagues on SAP BW functionalities. Continuously monitor system performance and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Implement performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure a high-performing SAP BW environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business). 4+ years of experience as an SAP BW Technical Consultant. Strong knowledge of SAP BW, including data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting. Proficiency in SAP BW tools and technologies (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud) . Experience with SAP BW on HANA is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. SAP BW certification is a plus but not mandatory.
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Technical Consultant to join our team in a support and enhancement role. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and related technologies. You will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing SAP BW solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization. Your expertise in SAP BW will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our business intelligence systems.
