Role Summary : Associate Director - Learning Design & Solutioning

2. Job Role / JD : About the Role :

We're looking for a seasoned learning strategist and solution designer who brings deep instructional design expertise, proven presales experience, and a consultative mindset. You'll partner closely with sales, client stakeholders, and internal teams to craft impactful learning solutions that are business-aligned, future-ready, and visually persuasive. If you've pitched learning journeys to CHROs, responded to RFPs under pressure, and love turning ambiguous asks into clear learning architectures, this role is for you.

What You'll Do :

Learning Strategy & Design Leadership :

  • Architect end-to-end blended learning journeys across modalities (ILT / VILT, eLearning, video, coaching, nudges, performance support, etc.)
  • Conduct deep-dives into client pain points and translate them into strategic, outcome- driven learning solutions
  • Stay current on learning trends, tools, and innovations (AI, immersive learning, etc.), applying them appropriately to elevate your designs
  • Presales & Proposal Solutioning :

  • Partner with the sales and presales team to develop winning proposals and capability decks.
  • Attend client discovery calls, ask intelligent questions, and use insights to shape your solution narrative.
  • Estimate learning effort and contribute to project scoping conversations.
  • Visual Communication :

  • Create clean, visually compelling PowerPoint decks that combine clarity, storytelling, and design sensibility.
  • Review and provide feedback on storyboards and mock-ups to ensure learning and visual alignment.
  • Use layout, structure, and visuals thoughtfully; even if you're not a graphic designer, you should know what "good" looks like.
  • Effort Estimation & Project Scoping :

  • Provide high-level effort estimates for learning solutions (with role-based breakdowns and
  • timelines)

  • Identify dependencies, assumptions, and risks during presales scoping
  • What We're Looking For :

  • 10-12 years of experience in instructional design, learning consulting, or related roles
  • At least 3-4 years of experience working in presales or client-facing solutioning roles in a Blearning services company
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, modern learning methodologies, and corporate learning ecosystems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills-able to craft concise, persuasive solution content
  • Strong PowerPoint storytelling skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas visually
  • Exposure to various authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, Vyond, etc.) and a high-level understanding of development workflows
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and bring structure to chaos
