We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in SQL, DBT, and Postgres to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure. This role focuses on enabling near real-time replication pipelines, ensuring trusted data quality, and supporting internal stakeholders with reliable database solutions.

Key Responsibility :
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using SQL and DBT.
- Implement and manage Postgres-based data solutions , ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build near real-time replication pipelines and support continuous data integration.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate data requirements into efficient, maintainable solutions.
- Automate workflows using Airflow, Rundeck, Mage, or Dagster .
- Monitor, validate, and ensure data quality and system performance through proactive testing and optimization.
Core Technical Skills & Expertise :
SQL & DBT (Core Focus)
Advanced SQL development (complex queries, views, performance tuning).Strong experience with DBT transformations, testing, and orchestration .Hands-on with data validation tools (dbt tests, Great Expectations, etc.).Postgres Expertise
Deep knowledge of Postgres internals, tuning, and replication .Experience with JSON-B , Postgres extensions, and version upgrades with minimal downtime.Configuring and maintaining self-hosted Postgres environments for high reliability.Automation & Infrastructure
Skilled with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Metaflow, etc.).Familiar with CI / CD systems (Jenkins or similar).Experience in Docker and containerized deployment environments.Nice-to-Have Skills :
AWS ecosystem experience (EC2, RDS, Aurora).Knowledge of metadata / catalog systems (e.g., OpenMetadata).Familiarity with analytical databases such as ClickHouse, DuckDB , or Cloudberry .Exposure to Python / Django , with the ability to map models to SQL schemas.
