Role Overview
The Senior Associate for the Responsible AI Office supports the development and market success of our responsible AI initiatives while building expertise in a rapidly growing field. You'll work across technical teams, business functions, and external stakeholders to ensure our AI offerings meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
This role combines hands-on project work with strategic analysis, giving you exposure to product development, customer engagement, and industry standards development. You'll gain practical experience in responsible AI practices while supporting initiatives that have direct business impact.
Working at the intersection of AI technology, commercial strategy, and regulatory requirements, you'll contribute to how responsible AI capabilities are developed, positioned, and delivered to market. This position provides valuable experience across multiple business functions and clear pathways for career growth in product management, business development, or specialized AI governance roles.
Key Responsibilities
RAI Offerings & Commercial Strategy (35%)
- Support development of market-ready responsible AI tools, frameworks, and assessment methodologies with clear commercial value propositions
- Assist with RFP responses by providing technical content, governance frameworks, and compliance documentation
- Contribute to customer presentations and sales conversations by preparing technical briefings and responsible AI positioning materials
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for RAI offerings and understand customer requirements
- Support business case development and pricing strategy for responsible AI products and services
- Assist with customer needs assessment and requirements gathering to inform product roadmap decisions
- Help develop customer education materials, case studies, and thought leadership content that demonstrate commercial value
- Support partnership development by identifying potential collaborators and preparing partnership materials
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy development including market segmentation and customer journey mapping
Program Management & Operations (25%)
Provide project management support for cross-functional responsible AI initiatives with clear business outcomesCoordinate meetings, manage calendars, and maintain project documentation and tracking systemsSupport budget management, vendor coordination, and resource allocation for RAI programsAssist with preparation of status reports, executive briefings, and stakeholder communicationsHelp manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreamsSupport organization of workshops, training sessions, and customer engagement activitiesMaintain comprehensive documentation of processes, decisions, and lessons learnedCoordinate cross-functional working groups and task forces on specific RAI topicsIndustry Standards & External Engagement (20%)
Support participation in industry standards organizations (IEEE, ISO, NIST) with focus on practical implementation and commercial relevanceResearch and analyze emerging AI governance frameworks and assess implications for product strategy and market positioningAssist with preparation of position papers and consultation responses that advance business interestsCoordinate participation in working groups and industry associations that enhance market credibilityTrack regulatory developments across jurisdictions and assess commercial impact and opportunitiesSupport external engagement activities including conferences and thought leadership that build market presenceMaintain relationships with external stakeholders including customers, partners, and industry peersInternal Governance & Business Enablement (20%)
Support development and implementation of internal AI governance policies that enable efficient business operationsAssist with training programs that help sales and customer success teams articulate responsible AI value propositionsHelp create governance documentation and approval processes that streamline product development and deploymentSupport compliance assessments and audit preparation to maintain customer trust and regulatory standingCoordinate with Legal, Sales, and Product teams on customer-facing governance requirementsFacilitate knowledge sharing sessions that enable teams to better serve customer needs around responsible AIAssist with development of customer-facing transparency reports and governance communicationsSupport incident response procedures that protect business relationships and market reputationRequired Qualifications
Educational Background & Core Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field3-4 years of experience in technology, consulting, business strategy, or related fields with demonstrated commercial impactStrong analytical and research skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business valueExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating customer-facing materials and presentationsDemonstrated interest in AI and technology commercialization through coursework, internships, or previous rolesExperience with business analysis, market research, or competitive intelligence
