  • Shop Plugin Developer is responsible for developing, designing, researching new ideas, planning, and developing concepts and processes for product and maintaining the core engine for our product. They are expected to build secure and reliable features working within the Engineering department.
  • They should be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills.
  • Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. They must also be able to work across multiple facets of the product and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.
  • Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions is a major requirement. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow in their career in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Skills

  • Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development and Storefront API. (SFCC / Magento / Hybris / Shopify Plus)
  • Solid knowledge and experience working in Sales Force Commerce Cloud (SFCC), developing SFCC Cartridges, and third-party system integrations.
  • A high level of proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Node JS, React JS.
  • Profound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, UI layouts, LESS, Bootstrap.
  • Solid experience in using a complex REST API, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax, cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them.
  • knowledgeable in security / personal data protection principals and GPDR.
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools. (Git / SVN)
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

  • Good to have an experience working in Magento, developing Magento templates, themes, and integration with third party systems.
  • Experience with Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating, implementing and / or debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions.
  • Practical experience of build / testing tools like Jasmine, Karma, etc.
  • Good understanding of Continuous Integration / Delivery pipeline for cloud, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, etc.
  • Profound knowledge of SASS and CSS GRID system
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
