Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Role OverviewEternal Robotics is seeking a seasoned Lead Computer Vision Engineer with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision systems. The individual will play a pivotal role in driving computer vision projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring robust deployment of CV solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.Job PurposeThe Lead Computer Vision Engineer will shape Eternal Robotics’ technology roadmap by developing, optimizing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms while ensuring seamless integration with web platforms, industrial systems, and cloud environments. This role requires both strong technical depth and proven leadership in guiding teams toward delivery excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and Project ManagementSpearhead end-to-end computer vision projects, ensuring scalability, robustness, and alignment with business goals.Manage project delivery timelines and ensure solutions meet organizational and client requirements.Technical Development and InnovationDesign and optimize computer vision algorithms using Python, OpenCV, and DeepStream .Research and adopt emerging CV / AI methodologies to enhance solution capabilities.Web Development and IntegrationEnsure seamless integration of CV solutions into web platforms.Collaborate with web development teams and provide APIs and technical support.Cloud & On-Premise DeploymentLead deployment of CV solutions on AWS or on-premise infrastructure .Define strategies for data storage, retrieval, and scalable computation.Ensure compliance, security, and cost-efficiency in deployment.Team Leadership & MentorshipLead and mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.Conduct one-on-ones, team syncs, and reviews to guide performance and growth.Stakeholder Management & CollaborationWork closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to translate requirements into actionable CV solutions.Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration across technology teams.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEstablish and enforce testing protocols to ensure robustness and reliability.Ensure adherence to ethical standards in AI model development and deployment.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience : 6–8+ years of proven experience in computer vision development and project leadership.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, DeepStream; strong exposure to cloud computing (AWS preferred).Leadership : Demonstrated experience in leading CV / AI teams and delivering production-grade solutions.Skills and AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Ability to design innovative solutions for complex challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to thrive in cross-functional, collaborative environments.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project delivery timeliness and quality.Model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.Successful deployment rate on cloud / on-prem systems.Team growth, engagement, and productivity.Cross-team collaboration effectiveness.Stakeholder and client satisfaction.
