Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager for our outlet in Visakhapatnam, India. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Oversee daily operations of the outlet, maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness
- Assist in managing and motivating the team to achieve performance goals and maintain customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service and increasing revenue
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and service skills
- Participate in menu planning and pricing strategies
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outletPrior experience as a supervisor in a similar settingStrong knowledge of a variety of beverages and food service operationsExcellent leadership and team management skillsOutstanding customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiencesProficiency in using point-of-sale systemsThorough understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standardsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plusFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredFamiliarity with local cuisine and food trends in VisakhapatnamBasic financial management skills for inventory and cost control
