Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a SAP ABAP Programmer with strong Ariba process knowledge, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The SAP ABAP Programmer will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP programs, integrating Ariba solutions, working with IDoc and BAPI, and managing SAP products. Daily tasks will include programming, integration, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless operation of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and forms supporting Ariba-related business processes.
• Work closely with functional teams (MM, Ariba, FI) to understand and translate procurement and sourcing workflows into technical specifications.
• Support Ariba business processes including :
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Supplier Lifecycle & Performance
• Sourcing and Contract Management
• Catalog and Purchase Requisition Management
• Develop and optimize custom reports, forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms), and enhancements for Ariba-linked transactions.
• Ensure ABAP code follows SAP development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Ariba Process Consultants to support business users during testing and go-live.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
