Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Engineer based in Chennai. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and protocols are adhered to on construction sites. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, developing and implementing safety training programs, monitoring occupational health and safety standards, and addressing any security concerns. The Safety Engineer will work closely with all departments to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Safety Engineering and Occupational Health
• Knowledgeable in Construction Safety and Security
• Ability to develop and conduct Training programs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications relevant to workplace safety and health (e.G., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field
