We plan to set up 1000 beds across 40 units for adult, acute inpatient care across India. Additionally, we have aspirations to expand into specialized segments of de-addiction, child development disabilities, dementia care, etc.

About the role

As a Psychiatric Social Worker at Sukoon Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive therapeutic services to patients struggling with mental health challenges. Your primary focus will be to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence, functionality, and overall well-being for individuals experiencing mental health issues. Your work will directly contribute to the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, enabling them to engage in meaningful activities and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• First contact person for the patient - Conduct assessments, identify needs, formulate tailored treatment plans / interventions & lead as a point of contact at the Rehab Centre for family / patients in absence of Doctor
• Plan and provide therapy- Deliver individual, family & group therapy addressing emotional & behavioral concerns
• Be an active multidisciplinary team member - Collaborate with other members of the team to address mental health and community needs of the patients
• Plan aftercare - Make appropriate post discharge plans that may include follow up with the clinical team, liaising with the local self help groups and encouraging the patient to join such groups
• Maintain precise patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Advocate patients' rights & facilitate access to social services & community resources
• Stay current on research & industry trends in clinical social work for continuous learning
