Principal Engineer Software - Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Job Description

In your new role you will :

• Cloud Solution Design and Implementation : Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services, including :
• EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and other AWS services.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management : Manage AWS environments, including :
• Setup, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources.
• Ensuring cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Code Development and Maintenance : Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code, including :
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure, including :
• Identifying and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams, IT operations, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.
• Cloud Security and Compliance : Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards, including :
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Cost Analysis and Budget Management : Assist in cost analysis and budget management for AWS resources, including :
• Analyzing costs and providing recommendations for cost optimization.
• Collaborating with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify and implement scalable, secure architectural patterns.
• Staying Current with AWS Services : Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture, including :
• Researching and evaluating new AWS services and features.
• Providing recommendations for improvements to existing architecture.
