EY has competencies in Business Tax Services Global Compliance and Reporting Global Law Indirect Tax International Tax and Transaction Services.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

As an analyst you will be a key resource on client engagement; Be up to date with key technical and functional skills and industry trends; Undertake research and understand the information received from client and put it to logical conclusion and discuss it with the client engagement team

Knowledge on Indian Income-tax Act

Transfer Pricing compliance work if undertaken earlier along with statutory approvals and filings such as preparation of TP documentation undertaking Master File and Country-by-Country report compliances reviewing of Form 3CEB

Drafting and vetting of documents such as submissions agreements reports etc

Undertaking TP assessments filing DRP applications appeal before CIT(A) and ITAT

Issuing opinions and memorandums on various issues relating to Indian laws and international tax across various sectors.

Undertaking filings of APA / MAP applications

General advisory work and drafting of reports.

Reading of double tax avoidance agreements OECD / UN commentaries etc

Develop specialized competence and begin to attract recognition within own service line as a technical resource for that specializatio

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

A qualified Chartered Accountant; A post graduate degree preferably MBA or PGDM from reputed institute

Experience

Proficiency is MS Office tools; Preferably undertaken articleship in tax however not a mandate; Good to have (ie not mandatory) - Experience in international tax transfer pricing
